This State Government department is looking for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Partner to join their team immediately on a temporary basis. This position is full-time and based within the Adelaide CBD.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Talent and supporting the wider team of experts, as the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for providing support and solutions to create seamless and engaging recruitment processes while identifying and selecting suitable applicants to meet the department's needs. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Developing recruitment strategies by formulating and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract, identify, and hire top talent. This involves understanding market trends, competitor practices, and innovative sourcing techniques.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for various business units, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Conducting initial screenings to assess candidates' skills and experience.
- Co-ordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Managing candidate experience by ensuring a positive experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process. Additionally, being able to provide clear feedback to candidates and keep them informed about their application status.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific needs, including job requirements and qualifications.
- Ensuring compliance with State Government recruitment policies and procedures, including assisting in drafting and refining job descriptions to ensure they accurately reflect the role and attract suitable candidates.
- Support new hires through the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into the organisation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Prepare and present recruitment reports and metrics to senior management.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have demonstrated experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, along with in depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and policies. Additionally, you must excel at building and maintaining relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
