About The Role

Reporting to the ANZ HR Director and working with a client of group of circa 300 employees across Australia this role will provide expert HR advice and coach line managers in the organisation's people practices.
This role will drive key people initiatives to take the business to the next level and ensure it achieves its ambitious growth targets.  The HR Business Partner will be pivotal in building employee engagement and performance capability in a great business that services some of ANZ’s most respected businesses. Other key responsibilities will include:
  • Implementing plans to build employee engagement in the business through a deep understanding of individual and organisational behaviour.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, coaching and consulting leaders on effective performance improvement and talent development.  Lifting line manager capability in HR conversations and processes to allow HRBP to be a true partnering role.
  • Providing expertise and coaching on a wide range of operational HR matters including ER/IR, organisational development, compensation and benefits, etc.
  • Leading change programs to drive cultural change and improved HR practise ensuring stakeholder readiness, communications and management
About You
The successful candidate will:
  • Be a confident, experienced and commercially minded HR generalist with solid operational and strategic HR experience preferably from a large complex multinational environment.
  • Have the ability to work in a collaborative fast paced team environment – i.e. a COE environment and able to work collaboratively with seamless handover points.
  • Have a strong track record in implementing HR strategies and will possess exceptional knowledge of employee and industrial relations, including working with Awards and Collective Agreements.
  • Be adept at influencing, negotiating, gaining credibility and building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Be data driven, using data to drive HR conversations and decisions.
  • Ideally have experience working with technical and remote client groups.
