HR Operations and System administrator, Dayforce experience up to 140k plus super
Your new company
A large, multi‑site organisation is seeking a HR operation and Systems Administrator to support the smooth and accurate delivery of people and operations across the business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with the People & Culture team, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in ensuring people's data, approvals, and processes are well governed and easy for others to use.
Based in Parramatta, the role offers hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home).
Your new role
You will play a key support role within the People function, helping maintain confidence in people and data and ensuring the Day force system continues to support everyday operational needs.
This role is about understanding people and processes, supporting stakeholders, and making sure the system reflects how the business operates. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the day-to-day administration of the Day force system, including organisational structures, approvals, roles, and employee information

Working closely with Payroll and People Operations to ensure system setups align with agreed processes

Assisting with investigating and resolving system or data issues, so teams can operate smoothly

Creating and maintaining regular and ad‑hoc reports to support workforce, compliance, and operational needs

Partnering with stakeholders to understand what information they need and helping translate that into clear, accurate reports

Supporting people‑related projects such as system upgrades, process improvements, and onboarding new parts of the business

Providing guidance training for the business
What you'll need to succeed

Experience with Day force or a similar people and payroll system within a medium to large organisation

A solid understanding of people and payroll processes and how good system set‑up supports positive employee outcomes.

Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to managing changes, data, and documentation

A collaborative, service‑focused mindset and the ability to work comfortably with non-technical stakeholders

Confidence producing reports and working with people data (advanced reporting)

Clear communication skills and a willingness to explain things in a practical, approachable way
