Your new role
As an Instructional Designer, you will lead the development of new learning content while improving and enhancing existing programs. You will provide specialist expertise in designing, developing, implementing and evaluating engaging learning solutions that meet business needs, adult learning principles and RTO requirements.
Working collaboratively with subject-matter experts, leaders and stakeholders across multiple business lines, you will design both online and face‑to‑face learning experiences. You will use research, storytelling and innovative learning technologies to create effective and engaging training solutions, while also reviewing and optimising existing content.
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience in an equivalent learning and development role within a large and/or complex organisation
- Proven expertise in instructional design, delivery and evaluation of adult learning solutions
- Demonstrated experience designing both online and face‑to‑face learning programs
- Strong capability in developing technical learning documentation, assessments and instructional materials
- Experience using authoring tools such as Storyline and Rise 360
- Hands‑on experience working with a Learning Management System (e.g. testing and deployment of learning content)
- Well‑developed stakeholder engagement, communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical, commercial and problem‑solving skills
- Solid project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience supporting organisations undergoing transformational change
- Experience developing nationally accredited training programs and qualifications
- Experience working with external vendors and RTOs
