An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Learning Design professional to join a large, complex organisation operating in a safety‑critical environment. This role will work closely with subject-matter experts to design and develop high-quality, compliant learning and assessment products that support capability uplift across a geographically dispersed workforce.
Your new role
You will play a key role in ensuring learning products are consistent, fit for purpose, and aligned with vocational education and training standards, enabling effective delivery by trainers and assessors across the organisation.

Design and develop high-quality training and assessment products that are valid, compliant, and aligned to role requirements.

Collaborate with subject-matter experts to translate operational requirements into effective learning solutions

Develop and adapt learning programs across multiple delivery modes, including eLearning

Ensure learning materials comply with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)

Review and update learning and assessment products as part of continuous improvement activities.

Contribute to assessment validation and audit processes to maintain compliance

Provide advice, guidance and support to trainers and assessors to enable consistent, high-quality delivery
What you'll need to succeed

Demonstrated experience designing and/or developing training and assessment in the VET sector

Strong knowledge of RTO regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks

Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a large or complex organisation

The ability to translate complex information into practical, engaging learning solutions

A collaborative and service‑oriented approach, with strong communication skills

An appreciation for working within a volunteer‑based or community service environment (highly regarded)
