This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, complex organisation within the healthcare sector, supporting a diverse workforce across multiple sites. You will be part of a collaborative Health, Safety & Wellbeing function focused on driving best practice injury management and workplace rehabilitation outcomes.
Your new role
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end occupational rehabilitation and injury management cases. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and effective return-to-work outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of work and non-work-related injury cases from start to finish
- Developing and implementing tailored rehabilitation and return-to-work plans
- Liaising with injured workers, managers, medical professionals, and external providers
- Providing expert advice on injury management, rehabilitation, and compliance requirements
- Delivering training and guidance to managers on their rehabilitation responsibilities
- Monitoring case progress and driving outcomes aligned to key performance indicators
- Supporting broader health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives
What you'll need to succeed

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Counselling) or equivalent experience

Demonstrated experience in occupational rehabilitation and injury management

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across varied levels

Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management capabilities

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between sites
