My client is seeking a Senior HR Leader to drive the strategic direction of their Business Partnering team. This is a high‑impact role where you will shape workforce strategy, guide senior executives through complex employment matters, and embed initiatives.
You will be the trusted advisor to senior leadership, balancing strategic foresight with operational excellence, and ensuring our people agenda aligns seamlessly with long‑term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive partnership: Provide evidence‑based, strategic advice to senior leaders on sensitive and high‑risk employment issues.
- Industrial relations leadership: Oversee complex disputes and case management, offering expert guidance and direct involvement when required.
- Strategic program delivery: Design and embed people‑focused initiatives that address workforce challenges and opportunities.
- Team leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team.
- Workforce strategy: Contribute proactively to broader People & Culture strategy, ensuring alignment with priorities.
- Compliance and governance: Deliver high‑quality written advice to meet internal and external requirements.
- Thought leadership: Stay ahead of HR and employee relations trends, applying best practice to the companies evolving needs.
What you need to succeed
- Extensive experience in executive‑level HR leadership and strategic workforce planning.
- Deep expertise in employee relations and industrial relations, including dispute resolution.
- Proven ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a track record of delivering tailored solutions.
- A collaborative, forward‑thinking mindset and commitment to driving organisational excellence.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and extensive relevant experience or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training, or professional
