Your new role
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio spanning multiple cyber, technical and operational environments. This is a hands on end to end role where you are embedded in the business as a trusted recruitment advisor. You will work closely with a wide range of technical and non technical stakeholders. Some leaders will look to you for market insight and strategic guidance, while others will benefit from a more consultative and supportive approach, making this a role that rewards strong stakeholder management and adaptability.
Key responsibilities include
- End to end recruitment across technical, IT, systems and engineering roles
- Building strong face to face relationships with hiring managers in Melbourne
- Supporting leaders adapting to new processes and ways of working
- Providing guidance and support within the team, with one direct report
- Contributing to reporting, process improvement and the continuous uplift of recruitment practices
This is a busy, varied and non repetitive role, well suited to someone who enjoys owning their portfolio and building long term partnerships with the business.
What you'll need to succeed

Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance

Six plus years experience in technical recruitment, agency or in house

Experience recruiting into defence, cyber, IT, engineering or other regulated technical environments is essential

Experience in a senior, lead or mentoring capacity

A strong understanding of in house recruitment and how TA partners with the business internally

Proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and credibility with hiring managers
- A collaborative, down to earth approach and strong team fit
