Your new company
Working for a successful and growing food manufacturer with offices in Western Sydney and across the country. This is a unique and busy Work Health & Safety Officer role supporting multiple sites and locations in all areas of workplace safety.
Your new role
This is a varied and busy role covering a number of sites across Sydney and NSW. You will provide practical, on-the-ground support to ensure the effective implementation and ongoing improvement of WHS systems, processes, and compliance across the business.

Conduct site inspections and WHS audits, identifying hazards and implementing practical risk controls

Support and participate in incident investigations and risk assessments

Deliver WHS training and onboarding for new employees at sites

Manage and coordinate WHS committee meetings

Management of the WHS systems and processes through auditing and reporting

Drive compliance with WHS legislation, company policies, and safety standards

Dealing with any WHS queries or questions from employees and managers

Provide hands-on support and guidance to leaders and employees on WHS matters
What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced WHS Coordinator, Advisor or Safety Officer with a minimum three years experience

You will have worked in a fast paced business environment, ideally Manufacturing, FMCG or other fast paced blue collar sectors

You must hold a qualification in WHS, be that Cert IV or Diploma

Must have access to your own transport and enjoy travelling to sites and being at the coalface
