HR Manager - Contract

Your new company

In this 3-month contract, you will act as the HR Manager for a holistic health care provider.

Your new role

  • Act as the subject-matter expert to provide advice and guidance and work on strategic initiatives including; Recruitment, Learning and Development, Workplace Health and Safety, Workers Compensation, HR Systems and Payroll Services.
  • Supervise and support day-to-day processing of HR administration duties pertaining to recruitment, on-boarding, maintaining the HR database, leave processing and reporting, learning and development, and off-boarding.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees seeking assistance with HR-related enquiries, including questions about company policies, procedures, benefits, and employment matters.
  • Assist in resolving employee and industrial relations matters within the organisation by conducting investigations, gathering relevant information, and collaborating with the Executive Team and other stakeholders to identify appropriate solutions driving outcomes and mitigating risk.
  • Ensuring the organisation is and remains compliant with all employment legislation, including industrial relations, Fair Work and Work Health and Safety
  • Inform and advise management on changes and trends in employment law and human resource regulation and compliance whilst understanding and interpreting organisational implications.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A minimum of 7 years' relevant human resources experience.
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in; Industrial relations processes and principles, the Fair Work Act, Australian Employment Law, Work Health and Safety
  • Demonstrated experience and capacity to work across all facets of Fair Work Australia
  • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus, and the ability to influence change.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources (minimum bachelor's degree)
  • Willingness to work on site 5 days per week
