Positioned at the intersection of complex industrial relations and large-scale workforce integration, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager People Business Partnering and project teams to seamlessly transfer, align, and retain critical workforce talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the people due diligence stream and design compliant, transitional, and future-state operating models by assessing workforce structures, industrial instruments, contracts, and risks.
• Own the industrial relations strategy across the transition, managing union engagement, major change consultation, and developing Board-approved bargaining parameters for applicable Enterprise Agreements.
• Establish workforce transition frameworks that align external project requirements with internal readiness, actively mitigating ER/IR risks and coaching senior leaders through complex employee matters.
• Embed people considerations while providing coaching and capability uplift to the broader People & Performance team.

We are looking for an experienced People leader who is familiar working in a complex unionised environment. Someone who possesses the executive presence and strategic depth to navigate large-scale workforce transitions. You must bring deep expertise in Australian employment law, enterprise bargaining, and union engagement, combining sharp commercial awareness with a hands-on approach to complex change.
